PLM-101: Plumbing Apprenticeship: Safety/OSHA/Tools/Heritage/Service (0.5 Lecture/2.5 Lab) (Min Credits: 3.0)

First-year course of the Plumber & Pipefitter Apprenticeship program. Provides students with a working knowledge of plumbing industry materials and standards. Learn use and care of pipe trade tools, practice safety and heritage of the United Association. Also provides OSHA 30 certification.

PLM-102: Plumbing Apprenticeship: Mathematics/Science for the Plumbing Trade (1.5 Lecture/1.5 Lab) (Min Credits: 3.0)

First year of the Plumber & Pipefitter Apprenticeship program. This course provides students with a working knowledge of mathematics and science as it applies to the plumbing industry.

PLM-103: Plumbing Apprenticeship: Plumbing Code/Water Supply Systems (1.5 Lecture/1.5 Lab) (Min Credits: 3.0)

Second year of the Plumber & Pipefitter Apprenticeship program. This course provides students with a working knowledge of Plumbing Code I and Water Supply Systems.

PLM-104: Plumbing Apprenticeship: Drawing I for the Plumbing Trade (1.0 Lecture/2.0 Lab) (Min Credits: 3.0)

Second year course of the Plumber & Pipefitter Apprenticeship program. This course provides students with a working knowledge of plumbing and piping layouts, drainage systems, piping and fixture supports as it applies to mechanical drawings.

PLM-105: Plumbing Apprenticeship: Drawing II/Drainage (1.0 Lecture/2.0 Lab) (Min Credits: 3.0)

Third year course of the Plumber & Pipefitter Apprenticeship program. This course provides students with a working knowledge of Technical Drawings, Isometric Drawings and the creation of Building Plans as it applies to the Plumbing trade.

PLM-106: Plumbing Apprenticeship: Welding/Oxy-Acetylene Training (0.5 Lecture/2.5 Lab) (Min Credits: 3.0)

Third year course of the Plumber & Pipefitter Apprenticeship program. This course provides students with a working knowledge of welding principles, as it relates to Metal ARC welding, Gas ARC welding, TIG Welding, MIG Welding and Oxygen/Acetylene burning and welding.

PLM-107: Plumbing Apprenticeship: Hydronic & Steam Systems/Pipe Fitting & Service (0.5 Lecture/2.5 Lab) (Min Credits: 3.0)

Fourth year of the Plumber & Pipefitter Apprenticeship program. This course provides students with a working knowledge of Layout, Cut, and Fit for Hydronic Water Piping and Steam fitting systems.

PLM-108: Plumbing Apprenticeship: Medical Gas/Rigging/Signal Person (1.0 Lecture/2.0 Lab) (Min Credits: 3.0)

Fourth year course of the Plumber & Pipefitter Apprenticeship program. This course provides students with a working knowledge of Medical Gas, Brazing, Rigging and Crane Signaling.

PLM-109: Plumbing Apprenticeship: ADV. Draw./Layout Plumb. Trade/UA Foreman (1.0 Lecture/2.0 Lab) (Min Credits: 3.0)

Fifth year course of the Plumber & Pipefitter Apprenticeship program. This course provides students with a working knowledge of Advanced Drawing, Plumbing Layout and Building Detailing. Practical field knowledge of plumbing duties, processes, objectives and code callouts is covered in-depth.

PLM-110: Plumbing Apprenticeship: Code II/Junior Mechanics Review & Exam (1.5 Lecture/1.5 Lab) (Min Credits: 3.0)

Fifth year course of the Plumber & Pipefitter Apprenticeship program. This course provides students with a working knowledge of Plumbing Codes and review of how changes affect the Plumbing Codes.
